About F1 Card Index
An independent, collector-built market tracker for the Formula 1 trading-card hobby.
F1 Card Index is a passion project built and maintained by a single Formula 1 fan and trading-card collector. It exists to do one thing well: make the modern F1 card market — led by Topps Chrome Formula 1 and the high-end Dynasty releases — legible to the people who actually collect it.
Why it exists
Formula 1 cards are a young hobby. The first licensed Topps Chrome F1 set landed in 2020, and the market has grown quickly and unevenly since. Unlike decades-old sports like basketball or baseball, there is no deep, public, decades-long pricing record to lean on. Comps are scattered across auction houses, marketplaces, and live-sale platforms, and they move fast around race weekends.
That gap is the reason this site exists. F1 Card Index pulls recent sold prices, live auctions, and record sales into one place, organized by driver, so a collector can answer the questions that actually matter: What has this card sold for? What is the ceiling for this driver? What is moving right now?

How it's built
The site is intentionally lightweight and fast. Pricing data is aggregated from public marketplaces and auction results rather than stored as a proprietary database, and every board follows a consistent set of rules for what counts as a sale, how duplicates are handled, and how foreign-currency results are converted.
